Stringing swing tickets

(Knot, Halsh, Secure Clips and attachments such as Safety Pins)

At SG Packaging we can string swing tickets, hang tags, button bags and a wide variety of other items using various types of string such as Jute, Cord, Wool, Cotton, Artistic, Ribbon, Wire, Secure Clips and many more. Whilst stringing we can also add attachments such as Safety Pins.

We also use different methods in which the tickets can be strung. These methods are decided by our clients and they include:

Knotted:

  • The ticket is strung through the hole and a knot is tied at the end.
  • Any number of tickets can be strung together.
  • Any length of the knot from the hole can be achieved.
  • In this method safety pins can also be added.

Halshed:

  • The sting is first knotted and then strung through the hole in the ticket and then looped and threaded through itself.
  • This process can also be done without being knotted in order to leave the string ends loose.
  • Once again any length of string can be used.

Secure Clips:

  • This stringing method uses a locking clasp method.
  • The secure clip is usually halshed through the ticket and locking clasps are left open.
  • The strung ticket can then be attached to its item such as garments, and the clasp is then locked.

Hand Glueing Services

(Double Sided Adhesive Tape, Glue Dots, Hot Melt Glue, Spray Glue, PVA Glue)

We can glue a whole host of item such as folders, button bags, fabric, labels for tins etc. Each glueing method is tailored to your requirement therefore, different glueing methods can be used to suit your individual needs. Our glueing methods can be used in huge variety of application, some of which include:

Double Sided Adhesive Tape:

  • Double sided adhesive tape is placed in its purpose build gun.
  • The tape can therefore be used to glue many products such as button bags, folders, fabric etc.

Glue Dots:

  • This double sided adhesive method is available in permanent and removable form.
  • The glue dot can be applied to a whole host of items that need to be stuck together where the double sided tape may not be convenient.

Hot Melt Glueing:

  • This method uses a heat gun to melt the glue.
  • The glue can then be applied to items such as card and fabric.

Spray Glue:

  • This method is usually the best choice to cover large areas quickly, and it can be used on a vast number of materials.

PVA Glue:

  • PVA glue is very versatile and fast drying.
  • It can also be used for many materials such as wood, paper, cards etc.
  • PVA glue can also be used to cover large areas.

Hand Folding and Assembly

(Swing tickets, leaflets, literature, greeting cards and many more)

Our company can offer you a whole host of folding techniques. If you have a product that needs folding in a certain way then SG Packaging will strive to fulfil your requirements. The items that can be folded (e.g. swing tickets, literature, greeting cards and many more.) and the types of folds that can be used (e.g. single fold, double fold, concertina fold etc.) are endless, some examples are listed below.

Swing ticket folding:

  • Not all swing tickets are plain single tags, some may require to be folded before they are strung.

Leaflets/Literature:

  • General folding of literature which can then also be inserted into envelopes.

Greeting cards:

  • Greeting cards can be folded, envelope added, bagged and boxed in any amount.

Collating

(literature, leaflets, mailing letters, labels etc.)

  • Virtually any item can be assorted in any required way.
  • After assorting items required by the client, they can then be packaged in the way required.
  • There are various ways in which items can be packaged for example banding with rubber bands, bagged in bags, packed in boxes etc.

Counting

(swing tags, labels, stripping out die cut sheets and banding or bagging in required amount)

This is because every aspect of our work involves counting. Therefore we stringently ensure that every single item is banded or bagged in the required amount.

  • Any and every item can be counted.
  • Once counted the item can be banded or bagged in any quantities.
  • Items can also be boxed in required amount.
  • Die cut sheets can be stripped and all stripped items can counted and assorted in any way.

Inserting
